The ledgend of the sleepy hollow

What interested me about the story is how it still lives on today as like a Halloween story and although it came out in 1820 people still like to watch movies about it and read books etc . During the story a man named  Ichabod is trying to get one of the most wealthiest farmers daughter but theirs another guy named Brom who is also trying to get Kartina and always makes sure to scare off the other guys by fighting them but  Ichabod doesn’t want to fight him so Brom does the next big thing Jean know for to scare him off which is pranking him and  Ichabod has herd about the headless horseman and one night walking from a party Katrina’s family had he sees the horsemanship and he ride his horse faster but he can’t and ends up getting hit in the head and no one know why happens to him after . Timeless advice on falling in love

This link is about Steinbeck responding to his son telling him he’s in love with s girl named Susan and he tells him that their are 2 kinds of love the one that’s selfish that you’re doing for your own person way of getting attention and the other is the one that’s almost pure then one where it takes the best out of you. My opinion on the Richard Corey poem

The poem Richard Corey took a really dark turn at the end and I was actually surprised that it ended in him killing himself when he seemed like he had everything but as we discussed in class it wasn't about the moeny he was probably just too tired of the money and the money depressed him . His name gave me a feeling the author named him Richard because it has rich in the title or just maybe because even his name flows so smooth making him the perfect person who seems to have completely nothing wrong with him on the outside and that's the only thing people saw they can't see his thoughts so they never knew how bad that aspect of his life was because they were just focused on his appearance. http://drprestonsamlitsmhs1718.blogspot.com/p/richard-cory.html?m=1
